About Breaching the Rift
Breaching the Rift is a miniature based Skirmish Game based in the Breaching the Rift Sci-fi universe. The rules are FREE to download (originally from the Gydran Studio website, but we are arranging a new location) and there will be an option to buy a digital copy if you want to help support the project and keep it moving forward. There will also be an expanded version with the background to the universe in future versions of the rules.
Breaching the Rift is a passion for us, and something that we want to explore and tell stories from the universe. This story world has been created over the last 28+ years and the miniature world of table top games is a perfect setting for us to continue exploring the worlds and the denizens that exist and live therein. From deep within the borders of the Rygel Consortium to the fringes of Mir-Aigne space. There is always a story to tell and frontiers to explore.
Playing Breaching the Rift!
Breaching the Rift will allow you to play either the standard one a side Skirmish game or as a co-operative game (currently under development). There will be narrative missions and a campaigns with future plans to create further campaigns based on the rich background of the universe it inhabits.
If you’re interested you can become one of the play testers for future updates of the game. Just get in touch. We want to make this game is one that we can all be proud of. It’s through working together that we can create great things.
